The story is interesting and grabs your attention. I mean two people who find they have lots in common because they like to have one night stands. The situation is funny, especially when they decide to help each other. Through the story, both main characters experience their own emotional growth and let go of past experiences that drag them down. It is only through this growth that they can accept that one night stands aren't where their destinies lay.The one part that I had issues with in the story were the names: Brec (Breccan), Gret (Gretel), and Angelika (Jeli). These names are so out there that I could not wrap my mind around them. Instead of getting deeper into the story, I kept getting slapped back with Brec and Gret. The story would read much easier with "normal" names.
Overall, it was a fun read. I will read it again at some point.

This is book it a great fun read! One where you truly care about the changes and growth you see in the characters! And of course good well written romp or two only adds to the fun! Love this book have already read it twice.
Jayne Dixon has done it again with this romantic comedy! The main characters go through such an emotional transition all while keeping you thoroughly entertained with laughs and heartache. The characters are so unique that the keep the reader intrigued. It was hard to put this book down and I will definitely re-read multiple times.
This is a fun, funny romp. It's witty and sexy. You'll enjoy it if you like romantic fiction.
What an amazing book! As the story goes on the characters really come into their own, and you really care deeply for them. I laughed and cried in this book. I was so anxious as I neared the end and feared it was all falling apart. The story is an intriguing one with many twists and turns. I've read this twice now and love the story and the development of the characters. As the characters Brecc and Gretel become involved the complexities of their past history and relationships seems to guide them in so many different directions, but always with that pull for each other.
Great book definitely recommend giving this a read!!
Hilarious and so real, it was amazing. Gretel does what every woman not wanting commitment does, she dates men who aren't ready for commitment. The results are humorous when she finds a new roommate who decides that she would be a good person to participate in a trial for certain personality types. The results are not what Gretel was expecting and she finds herself falling love, but players don't do that. Ready to run away, an accident leaves her reevaluating her ideas about love. Could she be ready for love?
Once again, Jayne Dixon has pulled me in with her wonderful gift for storytelling. The two main characters, Breccan and Gretel, seemingly start off as one-dimensional characters with only one thing on their minds, their next score. But as the plot and their back stories unfold, the reader sees the true emotional complexity of these characters and we can't help but root for them. Plus, throw in some sharp, witty dialogue and you have a truly enjoyable read that you'll want to read over and over again!
Ok, this romantic comedy definitely kept me intrigued. I was hooked from he first scene, and I couldn't help but root for these two characters who were so messed up from their past.
Both had learned to not let their feelings get involved with the act of sex. As matter of fact, they would go through extreme measures just to make sure this didn't happen. But, of course, you heart knows what it wants, no matter what you mind says. There were some really sweet scenes I enjoyed. Oh, and by the way, I loved the awkward secondary character (his cousin).
I highly recommend this story to whoever enjoyed a good romantic comedy.
